I am a Social Scientist, author/ poet. Have worked with governments (Nepal, Denmark, Pakistan), non-government, and international agencies (Danida, GTZ, CIDA, DFID, NOVIB ADAB, ILO) as adviser on gender, employment, forestry, migration, social mobilization, staff development, planning, and management specialist. Established training institutes and organized programs to develop a cadre of development professionals and local activists. Designed and led major development programs and programs for skills enhancement and team building for staff of development agencies. Experienced in working across cultures, including countries in South, East, and Central Asia, Europe, and parts of Africa. Represented two Vice Presidencies on the World Bank's Knowledge and Learning Board for several years. Elected by MDBs to represent them on the Steering Committee of the International Forum On Capacity Building. Led training on stakeholder consultations, participation and civic engagement, poverty reduction strategy (PRS) for client groups, and sustainable development (SDLP) for the Management and Partners of the World Bank Group. Led the program on Immersive Learning Design, and Teaching Effectiveness and Quality Assurance for the Leadership and Governance Practice, at the World Bank Institute (WBI). Supported a number of teaching, operational, and social mobilization initiatives related to governance and leadership, with different groups and individuals, across several countries during 2012-2013. Worked with the Leadership and Governance Team as Senior Faculty, Teaching Effectiveness and Quality Assurance. Assigned Technical Adviser, Collaborative Leadership for Development 2014-2016. Senior Consultant Leadership and Governance with the World Bank and Open Government Partnership. 2017-2019. Digitized and published a book "Aina e Hairat" - a collection of my father's poetry - online and in print 2018. Digitized, and published "Wahin Hum Bhi Thae" - a poetic journal based on my own observations and experiences in life - online and in print 2022. Currently working on "Journeys of Life" - a book about change and societal transformation - based on life stories of selected professionals in the field of development and reforms.
