Dr. Tisa Tellez is a skilled dentist born in Alabama but grew up in Central Florida. Dr. Tellez then completed her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from LECOM School of Dental Medicine in 2017. Dr. Tellez completed a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency program through NYU Langone Health at Pueblo Community Health Center in Colorado to further hone her skills and expertise. During her residency, she gained invaluable experience in various advanced dental procedures, including dental implants, oral surgery, endodontics, and cosmetic dentistry. After practicing dentistry in Colorado, Dr. Tellez returned to her hometown of Longwood with her husband, Cesar, their son, Elias, and their dog Choco. Dr. Tellez is passionate about providing her patients with the highest level of care possible, and she strives to make every visit to her office a comfortable and enjoyable experience. When she's not busy helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Tellez enjoys spending time with her family, binge-watching television shows, trying out new restaurants and breweries, and biking and practicing yoga. Dr. Tellez believes a healthy work-life balance is essential for achieving long-term success in her personal and professional life
