I am the interim Nursing Director of the Emergency Department at Providence St. Joseph Orange where I oversee the daily operations and performance of the emergency department, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency of care delivery. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Education in Community Health Education from Canyon College. With over 30 years of nursing experience and 15 years of progressive management, I have developed a strong expertise in emergency and trauma services, education and professional development, and strategic planning. I am passionate about improving the health outcomes and experiences of patients and staff, as well as advancing the nursing profession. I have implemented several initiatives to enhance the service line and organization goals, such as process improvement, fiscal management, data collection and analysis, and staff engagement. I have also been recognized for building and leading a high-performing team of nurses, educators, and consultants, who collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to provide excellent care.
