A newly qualified pharmacist having recently successfully completed the pre-registration training in the Community. An Aston University graduate with a 2:1 on the Master programme. Currently seeking exciting and challenging locum positions in both the community and hospital settings. I am an organised and effective communicator with both patients and colleagues with a keen interest in the health and wellbeing of people. I am someone who has a strong sense of responsibility and have a logical proactive approach in dealing with problems‬. I am a confident team player that has a positive, optimistic attitude to patient care, clinical practice and academic study, achieving 90% in the registration exam. As a community pre-reg pharmacist in a retail location my experience included responsibility for a range of pharmacy practices from giving healthcare advice, advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions about medicines bought at the counter to preparing and dispensing scripts. I am caring and have a sympathetic attitude to support patients that maybe unwell, upset or confused. I am adaptable, flexible and willing to learn as well as trustworthy, honest, reliable and looking forward to broadening my experiences being part of a team that ensures best possible care and treatment for all patients.
