Mr Matija Krkovic is a leading Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon practising at Addenbrookes Hospital Cambridge University NHS Foundation Trust and privately with Nuffield Healthcare. The skilled surgeon predominantly treats issues relating to the lower limbs including knee arthroscopy, replacment and revision surgery, ankle fusion, Achilles and anterior cruciate ligament repair and reconstruction. Mr Krkovic also has vast experience in limb lengthening, meniscus tears, bone grafts and tibial osteotomies. Additionally, he sees clients suffering from post-trauma sequelae such as deformities, defects and osteomyelitis. He currently is an active member of the Cambridge Bone Infection Group, a multidisciplinary team to help patients suffering from bone infection to provide a holistic approach to treatment and care. He also works collaboratively with the Engineering Department of Addenbrookes hospital to develop new techniques and implants to optimise outcomes.
