Born in Michigan, Dr. Marzieh Ekbatani grew up in Toronto, Canada. She received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario (just a 2.5-hour drive from Detroit, MI). She then went on to graduate from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry with her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) and has practiced in the metro Detroit area ever since. Dr. Ekbatani prides herself on her professional manner yet gentle touch. She remains dedicated to continued education as she believes knowledge is power in all aspects of life, especially dental care. She forms long-lasting relationships with her patients built on mutual respect, trust, and compassion. Dr. Ekbatani is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She enjoys many aspects of general dentistry including beautiful cosmetic restorations, extractions, clear aligner therapy, and bridges. Regardless of the dental procedure, Dr. Ekbatani 's number one priority will always be providing the best comprehensive and personalized care for her patients. In her spare time, Dr. Ekbatani loves traveling, amusement parks, taking nature walks and volunteering with local student groups. Dr. Ekbatani also loves cooking for her friends and family and loves to explore different cultural cuisines.
