I am a Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon in Birmingham and Clinical Service Lead for Vascular Surgery at University Hospitals Birmingham. Practising exclusively as a vascular specialist, I specialise in endovascular surgery providing complex EVAR for aortic disease including aneurysms and dissections, percutaneous angioplasty and stenting for peripheral arterial disease and keyhole managment of varicose veins with endothermal ablation and ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy. I offer the full range of treatment options to a patient with vascular disease. I qualified from University College London Medical School. After completing a research degree in vascular ultrasound, I trained solely in vascular and endovascular surgery during specialist surgical training, being admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2009. I completed a year of further specialised training in endovascular (keyhole) surgery in Queensland, Australia. I was appointed Clinical Director of Vascular Surgery in 2015, leading the internationally recognised Vascular Unit and Clinical Service Lead for Vascular Surgery at University Hospitals Birmingham in 2019. I provide specialist vascular services privately with my colleague Mr Donald Adam, Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon, as part of Premier Vascular.
