I am a consultant gastroenterologist and treat patients with all gastrointestinal conditions but have a special interest in diseases of the oesophagus and stomach including heartburn, reflux, indigestion, Barrett's oesophagus and oesophageal cancer. I am part of a regional endoscopy unit in Watford which specialises in the endoscopic management of patients with early cancer of the oesophagus. My private practice includes the treatment of patients with all GI conditions but specifically I am able to treat patients with conditions affecting the oesophagus and stomach by offering a full range of investigation and treatment such as oesophageal physiology testing and endoscopic treatment of Barrett's oesophagus and early oesophageal cancer, including endoscopic resection and radio-frequency ablation. I also see patients with other GI conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain and liver problems. I perform a range of endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy.
