Marcus Merriweather, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who earned his medical degree at the elite Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta and undertook his residency training at Florida Hospital (now AdventHealth) in Orlando, capping his tenure as Chief Resident in family medicine. He holds certifications in pediatric advanced life support as well as advanced cardiac life support, and he has a special interest in sports medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Medical Association and the Florida Academy of Family Practice. Dr. Merriweather is based in Altamonte Springs and practices alongside Dr. Sasse, Dr. Shay and Jennifer Lombard, PA-C.
