Dr. Marcena Gorgaes, D.D.S. was born in Greece and moved to Michigan when she was two years old. She pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from University of Detroit Mercy. While completing her dental degree, she provided a variety of dental procedures to medically complex patients at Detroit Receiving University Health Center. Dr. Gorgaes loves providing compassionate and comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry to every age group in the family. She is dedicated to improving and maintaining oral health and general health while developing lasting relationships with patients. She utilizes innovative procedures and incorporates the latest advancements and technology to provide patients the most pleasant dental experience. Dr. Gorgaes is a strong believer in the power of continuing education and is continuously involved in advanced courses in oral surgery, implants, pediatrics, and orthodontics. She is a certified Invisalign provider and a proud member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Macomb District Dental Society. Outside the office, Dr. Gorgaes enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with her husband, two wonderful children, family, and friends.
