Dr. Marcella Scaccia is a hospice and palliative care specialist practicing in Volusia-Flagler and Putnam areas in Florida. Dr. Scaccia provides care to people who are seriously ill. As a hospice and palliative care specialist, Dr. Scaccia works to relieve the pain and suffering of people who have a severe medical condition and are in a critical state. Hospice and palliative care specialists try to improve the quality of life for a person who may not have much time left to live. She is a Fellow of the AAHPM, is Board Certified in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Palliative and Hospice Medicine and is a certified Hospoce Medical Director. She has published in national and interbationals journals and has been a speaker at international symposia in her areas of interest. She was faculty at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NYC and served as Volonteer Faculty at UCF.
