Mr Marc Lamah is the Senior Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, having been Lead of the Department of Surgery for many years. He studied medicine at Cambridge University and undertook his surgical training on the St George’s surgical rotation in London. His main interests are in colorectal cancer, early rectal cancer, colorectal polyps, pelvic floor surgery and benign anorectal problems including haemorrhoids. He has a vast experience spanning over twenty two years as Consultant, and receives tertiary referrals from other Hospitals. He is a specialist colonoscopist and is one of only three accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopists (the UKs highest standard for colonoscopy) in Brighton.
