Dr. Malini Hebbur is one of Village Pediatrics' award-winning, on-site pediatricians, caring for children of all ages, from infancy into adolescence. Recognized as a "Mom-Approved Doctor" by Dallas Child magazine, Dr. Hebbur prides herself on treating her young patients as if they were her own children. As a mom herself, she is able to offer a personal perspective, a compassionate attitude, and caring hands. Dr. Hebbur is a board-certified pediatrician. She attended school in India at Bangalore University and later relocated to the United States where she received her M.D. from the Oklahoma Health Science Center Children’s Hospital. Prior to coming to Village Pediatrics, Dr. Hebbur worked for Kaiser Permanente Texas, and and then for nearly a decade was a part of a private group practice in Plano, TX. She is a member of the Texas Medical Association, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Hebbur assists families with all of the medical needs for their children, including immunizations, well-checks, annual and sports physicals, as well as diagnosing and treating common illnesses. She strives to offer the highest level of medical care to her patients, and is also trained to treat injuries, such as fractures, wounds, burns, and other common ailments. Dr. Hebbur is great with kids and loves working with them. Dr. Hebbur is married to her husband Arun, and they have two children, Chetan and Maya. She loves spending time with her family, as well as cooking and going for long walks. She proudly states that her favorite part of her job is making a positive impact and difference for families by helping their children achieve healthier goals and happy lives.
