"Magalys Torres, M.D., is a family physician, board-certified through the American Board of Family Medicine. At Conviva Wellington, Dr. Torres adds her extensive experience working with patients with multiple comorbidities, working in women’s health, and doing preventative care and health management. She completed a family medicine residency at New York Medical College at Hoboken University Medical Center in Hoboken, New Jersey, 2013 to 2016, and also obtained residency training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Torres received her medical degree from the Las Tunas School of Medicine of the University of Medical Sciences in Las Tunas, Cuba, in July 1997. She researched the impact of the new cholesterol guidelines by the ACC/AHA at the Neighborhood Health Center in Hoboken, New Jersey. Dr. Torres believes in providing comprehensive and holistic medical care to enhance her patients’ overall health."
