Astute Advanced Pharmacist Practitioner working in general practice, offering outstanding clinical skill and sound critical judgement for optimised patient outcomes. Working collaboratively and compassionately to implement effective treatment programmes for diverse chronic conditions and expertise in dermatology, respiratory disease and diabetes. Pharmacist with a total of 18 years of professional experience in general practice, community and hospital settings. Providing a comprehensive medicine management service for minimised risk and maximised patient benefit. From my time as a preregistration pharmacist, I have always been proactive in training others and continue to do so sharing knowledge that I have gained through the years. As a locum pharmacist and throughout my career as a practicing pharmacist, I have learnt to manage and prioritize time and tasks effectively to maintain high levels of service and patient care. I have been involved in pharmacy since 1999 starting out as a sales assistant at Boots The Chemist and progressing through the company to healthcare assistant, then pharmacy assistant and eventually dispenser. I understand the importance of seeking knowledge, working towards a target and career progression. I would enthusiastically undertake with open arms any form of additional training. I undertook my preregistration training at Great Ormond Street Children hospital, which gave me invaluable experience of the multidimensional aspects of hospital pharmacy and the clinically orientated side of the profession.I have attained an MSc in clinical dermatology with distinction, as well as a clinical diploma in pharmacy practice and an independent prescribing qualification. I have a minor illness accreditation.
