I am a Nurse Practitioner and public speaker with over 14 years of clinical experience, dedicated to bridging gaps in healthcare. I help people build healthier relationships with themselves, their bodies and those around them. My work is driven by empathy, compassion, and connection, both in my professional practice and as a writer and public speaker. As freelance consultant, writer and public speaker, I offer keynotes and workshops on topics such as mental health, emotional literacy, relational wellness, spiritual health and the unique healthcare needs of migrants and first-generation immigrants. I work for the Canadian Armed Forces, providing primary care to active service members. I specialize in addressing the unique needs of racialized individuals. I pioneered the first BIPOC clinic in the Canadian Armed Forces, addressing the complex intersections of race, migration, and health. My approach is trauma-informed, racially, and culturally sensitive, driven by a passion for making healthcare inclusive for all. I hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who are overlooked - both by society and by conventional medicine.
