Mr Lucky Jeyaseelan is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon based at the following private hospitals: The London Clinic HCA THe Shard / London Bridge Hospital One Welbeck The Holly Private Hospital BMI The Sloane Hospital His NHS base is the The Royal London Hospital, Barts Health NHS Trust. His special interests are in the following areas: Ankle arthritis and deformity (including total ankle replacement) Ankle Arthroscopy Flat feet deformity and tibialis posterior dysfunction Forefoot deformity (including bunions, arthritis, and lesser toes) Hindfoot arthritis and deformity Keyhole and minimally invasive surgery Midfoot arthritis Osteochondral defects of the talus Plantar fasciitis Rheumatoid Foot Soft tissue conditions of the foot and ankle Sports and dance injuries Tendon disorders (including Achilles and peroneal tendon disorders) Treatment of pes cavus (high-arched feet) Trauma – all acute injuries including fractures around the foot and ankle Mr Jeyaseelan has a passion for helping patients with foot and ankle problems. He is highly experienced and fellowship-trained in his field. He gained his medical qualification in 2007 from the University of London and trained on the Percivall Pott Rotation, where he ranked top. He has spent time working at prestigious institutions, including Great Ormond Street Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. His fellowship was based in Canada, where he gained expertise in custom 3D printed prostheses, patient-specific instrumentation, and revision surgery. Mr Jeyaseelan has an interest in research and has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals. He is also an honorary senior clinical lecturer at Queen Mary University London.
