Dr. Louise Langman is a highly qualified clinical psychologist with registration as a Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC. With over twenty years of experience, she has helped children and adults navigate a wide range of psychological challenges to achieve optimal mental health. Dr. Langman has worked in community and inpatient settings in both the UK and the USA, spanning the NHS, private sector, and voluntary organisations. She is accredited in several therapeutic approaches, allowing her to tailor therapies for individuals, couples, or families facing distress and seeking to improve their well-being. Her expertise includes using psychological models such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), Compassion-focused therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) therapy. As an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, Dr. Langman is committed to promoting psychological understanding through public engagement events.
