As the team lead for Alder Hey Community Occupational Therapy (Liverpool) team, I specialise in Early Intervention for children aged 0-2I am passionate about supporting these children and their families through their transition to educational settings. I am currently leading a pilot project to expand this service to cover 0-5s. I have a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of Liverpool, where I received the Frances Lawton Prize for achieving top marks in all of my practice placements. In 2023, I completed a postgraduate module in Foundations in Neuroscience at Sheffield Hallam University which enhanced my understanding of sensory integration and motor development. I have experience working in acute paediatrics within a tertiary highly specialised setting - where I assessed and treated children with various needs and conditions, working across multiple specialities through rotational posts. I have experience of working within trauma & orthopaedics, burns & plastics, rheumatology, oncology, acute neurological rehabilitation and early intervention. I have strong skills in Microsoft Office, customer service, and Microsoft Excel. I am currently learning to speak Spanish & German.
