Leon Talan, MD, is a Family Practitioner with over 38 years of experience practicing medicine. He graduated from The Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 1969, completed a rotating internship at the University of Mainz, and a residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Talan is affiliated with Palmetto General Hospital, North Shore Medical Center, and Parkway Regional Medical Center and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the former Chief of Staff at Palmetto General Hospital. He is an active member of the American Medical Association serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Family Medicine at Nova Southeastern University.
