As a clinical pharmacist at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, I provide pharmaceutical care to patients in various wards, such as surgery, cardiology, and oncology. I work with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medication therapy, monitor drug safety and efficacy, and educate patients and staff on best practices. I also contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research projects within the trust. With over three years of rotational experience at The Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust, I have developed a broad range of clinical skills and knowledge in different areas of pharmacy, such as critical care, emergency medicine, and infectious diseases. I have also participated in teaching and training activities, such as delivering presentations, facilitating workshops, and mentoring junior pharmacists and students. I hold a master's degree in pharmacy from Liverpool John Moores University, where I gained a solid foundation in pharmacology, therapeutics, pharmacy practice, and clinical research. I am passionate about advancing the profession and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based and patient-centred care. I am always keen to learn new skills, collaborate with colleagues, and embrace challenges.
