Leekieshia D. Grimsley, FNP-C is a board-certified family nurse practitioner that will soon be seeing patients at North Atlanta Primary Care’s Duluth location. Leekieshia was born in New Orleans, Louisiana. Both of her parents were US Marines, so Leekieshia traveled a lot growing up. She attended the University of North Carolina-Greensboro and received her BSN in Nursing. For her Master’s, she attended Wilmington University where she earned her Master's of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner. She is part of Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. Leekieshia currently welcomes new patients of any age. Leekieshia likes to spend time with her family. She moved to Georgia from Delaware along with her husband and their three children, so they are enjoying learning the area and all it has to offer. She loves to travel and once worked as a traveling RN for 3 years. Leekieshia is proud to have worked with Doctors Without Borders in Haiti and Nigeria.
