Leanne Gilder, O.D. is a Therapeutic Optometrist specializing in primary care and the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease. She is proficient in utilizing state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to assess candidacy for laser vision correction and cataract surgery and administers pre- and post-operative care for both procedures. Dr. Gilder grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana and attended Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she received a clinical letter of excellence and actively participated in the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists organization. Dr. Gilder is currently a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association and currently serves on the board for the Harris County Optometric Society. In her leisure time, Dr. Gilder enjoys exercising, playing tennis, watching football and spending time with her family and friends. Dr. Gilder sees patients at the Mann Eye Institute –The Woodlands location.
