I have worked in ambulatory care pharmacy for 18 years in US retail and military applications in 30 locations around the world, first as a technician, then as a pharmacist. I have seen patients in lipid clinic, adjusting medications, ordering lab work, developed treatment plans with patients. During that time, I earned the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy certification and US Air Force International Health Specialist designation. I have participated in international pharmacy conferences as a student and a professional to bridge the gap of understanding and gain a better dialogue of needs across the pharmacy community around the world. In recent years, I became an internationally qualified La Leche League Leader who is a peer breastfeeding supporter for families in the UK and the US before and throughout the COVID period. I have provided support individually and in group settings through antenatal breastfeeding courses, meetings, and training future Leaders both online and in person to allow access for as many as possible.
