I am an ambitious, enthusiastic, and proactive, with strong desire to succeed as a pharmacist. I am keen to take on new tasks and daily challenges, combining a open mind and common sense to achieve set organizational aims and objectives. My main concern has always been patient safety, and so I aim to consistently deliver services to patients in a professional and effective manner. I succeed to create a good balance between formal and informal with colleagues and staff. This allows me to work well within a team and offer my support to those who may need it. I possess a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times and able to perform multiple tasks efficiently whilst working within a team and individually. These qualities have supported me significantly on the hospital wards, whilst working alongside Pharmacists and Doctors with a vast range of specialities. As a keen learner, I have kept my continuing professional development active, by making entries relating to everyday activities that have interested me. This has not only developed my knowledge on medication and disease states, but also ensures my dedication to my career, and to remain competent from all aspects. Having already worked in many areas of my department, I feel confident that my future actions will contribute a positive image to any organization. A great deal of self-motivation and initiative has aided my ability to learn more quickly and adapt to new working environments. I have proven patient/customer service skills from past experiences, where I had to deal with a vast range of customers with different needs, including some beyond the average customer e.g. aggressive and angry. I am confident to liaise with key members to ensure adequate levels/standards are maintained for pro-actively assisting patients to get the most out of their medication e.g. counseling and MURs.
