I have worked throughout my life with patients qualifying in medicine at the University of Edinburgh and subsequently completed a Doctorate in Medicine at Aberdeen. Throughout my life I have been driven by the need to express human experience in painting and I continue to try to do this. I gained a Foundation Degree in Creative Arts with distinction at Macclesfield College and completed a first class degree BA (Hons) Visual Arts at The University of Salford. My art work is to do with people and their experiences in everyday life and in their contact with illness.
