My name is Mayra Molina. I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in California. I provide services in Spanish. I have experience working with victims of crime, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance use, stress management, coping skills as well as developmental disabilities such as Autism. My approach I allow my client to process as I support them by meeting you where you are to identify tools that would help improve your quality of life while better managing your symptoms. My focus My experience as a therapist has been in working with victims of DV/SA. I have worked with children, adults, and families in better-managing depression, anxiety, and severely mentally ill patients. I have over 12 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities. I am fluent in Spanish. My communication style I am here to follow my clients' needs with a gentle approach. My journey to mental healthcare I started working with individuals with developmental disabilities such as autism, down syndrome, etc. home/clinical/school-based. I then became passionate about working with children, teenagers, and adults victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and trauma-focused, and then expanded my career to working with adults with schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. I have worked with couples and families that are experiencing relationship challenges or have been exposed to traumatic experiences. I am passionate about working with individuals that are experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship issues due to life changes. I am interested in helping individuals recover from presenting problem areas to improve their quality of life. My goals for you I help my clients identify goals in their first sessions and we revisit goals as needed as well as following each client's treatment plan.
