Gabriel Jones, LMFT: I started in psych as an inpatient nurse (RN: 2008 - 2018). Since 2018, I've worked as an MFT (trauma, addiction, mood & psychosis). My approach brings together Positive Psychology, Internal Family Systems, Attachment, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed, Relational, Experiential, and Spiritual Practices. My approach I research and grow in my practice every day. This keeps me well balanced and able to reach into many fields of study to personalize each session to your care. I find parts work, seeing one's self as a diverse collection of experiences, an important way of growing in self-acceptance and finding harmony in one's struggles. I believe it is important to feel seen, heard, and validated. I understand the importance of therapy and also understand some of the apprehension about therapy that you may have. I have life experience as well as extensive training to support you in your journey towards finding ways to grow and flourish in life. My focus I specialize in stress/trauma spectrum issues. Work stress, relationship stress, self-loathing, low self-worth, self-doubt, reoccurring nightmares, future anxiety, feeling stuck in life, unable to find meaning, unable to experience a sense of achievement, feeling forced into doing the things other people want you to do but never getting time to focus on your needs...It can all be a lot, and it's all tied together. I can help. My communication style A great way to get a feel for me is through my YouTube: My journey to mental healthcare That I would one day become a therapist was no surprise to anyone who has known me, in that I have always had boundless compassion. It never runs out. I have always found strength in being a support and a witness to others. I was born into that painful world where the odds were stacked against me, and it made me resilient, clever, and adaptable.
