Mr. Kia Rezajooi is a Consultant Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH). He specializes in spinal disorders and complex spinal surgery, and served as Clinical Lead of one of Europes largest Spinal Surgery Units. Mr. Rezajooi was born and raised in London and attended Westminster School, before studying Medicine at Bristol University. Mr. Rezajooi completed his post-graduate Surgical training at St Marys Hospital back in London, before going on to complete Neurosurgical training at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN). In 2007 he was appointed to the NHNN/RNOH Complex Spinal Fellowship program where later he became Co-Director after being appointed as a Consultant neurosurgeon in 2008. In 2011 he was awarded an MD (Res) degree from University College London for his work surrounding repair following spinal cord injury; And between 2017-2021 chaired North West Regional spine network which he helped to establish. Mr Rezajooi also has experience working as a Specialist Advisor to NICE for Interventional Procedures review board member for NIHR among other committees or councils such as BASS & Headof Researchfor BASS since April 2018.
