More than 17 years’ experience of working as a psychiatrist in the UK. Specialist Psychiatrist with Community Mental Health Team (Working-Age Adults) at Leeds and York Partnership Foundation Trust (England, UK) since March 2020. My team provides specialist mental health services for students from Leeds University. I am also working as an independent Mental Health Act Assessor, and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguard assessor for Kirklees, Calderdale, Bradford and Barnsley Councils. For example, I am particularly interested in the impact of meditation and mindfulness on neural structures and pathways. I enjoy my daily walks around a reservoir in the Pennines, near my house, listening to music, pilates and using headspace.
