Dr. Nastasi is a native of Baton Rouge Louisiana. He is married to Merle and a father to Cole, Anna, and John.He graduated from LSU School of Medicine in 1991. While at LSU he was one of two students chosen to participate in the medical school admissions committee. Additionally, he received the Stephen Osofsky award for an outstanding performance in the pediatric acting internship and the prestigious Dean’s award at graduation. He completed a residency at the University of Tennessee in a combined program in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.After completing board certifications in both specialties, Dr. Nastasi stayed at the University of Tennessee to complete a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology. He maintains a current board certification. He has been in practice with Allergy Partners of the Piedmont since 1997.“I see patients of all ages and have a particular interest in rashes, exercise induced asthma and insect allergy.”
