I'm a registered Occupational Therapist from Canada who is currently residing in Glasgow, Scotland and working with NHSGGC in a rotational post. Currently working in Elderly Rehabilitation (May 2022 to present). Past rotations include: - Neurology (December 2021 to May 2022) - Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery (May 2021 to November 2021) - Respiratory Medicine (October 2020 - May 2021) - Acute Older People's Services (April 2020 - October 2020) Experience and Interests include: - Experience: autism spectrum disorder and learning difficulties, inpatient rehabilitation with a focus on stroke, spinal cord injury, a variety of neurological conditions and adolescent mental health. Acute medical experience in acute receiving units, older peoples services, respiratory medicine and trauma and orthopaedic surgery. - Interests: mental health awareness, severe and enduring mental health conditions, complex trauma, rehabilitation, hand and upper limb therapy, neurological conditions, LGBTQ+ health care, sexual health and end of life care.
