Dr. Kathryn Berryman is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, maternal-fetal medicine and obesity medicine. She joined AdventHealth Medical Group after a distinguished career in the military, where she served as a maternal-fetal medicine physician most recently based at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. As assistant professor for the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD, she was also the OB/GYN medical student clerkship director. Dr. Berryman’s service with the Army Medical Corps included deployments to Iraq and Senegal, earned her three Army Commendation Medals and saw her achieve the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. A proud Jefferson Scholar graduate of the University of Virginia where she majored in biomedical ethics, Dr. Berryman earned her medical degree at the University of Maryland, undertook her residency with the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium (SAUSHEC), and completed advanced fellowship training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She specializes in maternal and fetal medicine, obesity in pregnancy, high-risk and reproductive genetics and prenatal genetic counseling and screening.
