Highly experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist working with children, their parents and teachers. I worked in SPOT clinic previously, when it was just one clinic with 2 other therapists and we built up the team and clinic areas to working with a multidisciplinary team and I was responsible for the in-school service for the clinic therapists. I wanted to work more in schools where the children often have more issues due to the demands set on them there. I have been working with Peak school since 2013, Kellett school and Tung Chung Kindergarten since 2018. I also offer home visits for assessments and treatment for other children at other schools. I specialised in pre-writing, writing skills (certified in learning without tears curriculum) and fine motor work. Advanced training in sensory integration and working with children who have regulation issues. Highly experienced with children with autism spectrum issues, ADHD and developmental delay. Advanced level training in DIR (developmental interaction relationship) floortime approach (a play development approach). The most important thing for me is to gain the child's trust, let them have fun in therapy and always be a detective looking at what is causing certain traits.
