Dr. Karthik Sabapathy is dually board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as Interventional Pain Management. Procedures he specializes in include: spinal cord stimulator trials, epidural steroid injections, joint injections, and radiofrequency ablations. Dr. Sabapathy believes strongly in treating each patient with respect, dignity, and compassion. “Pain is an unfortunate inevitability of life and I consider patients allowing me to manage their pain a privilege,” says Dr. Sabapathy. “My promise to my patients is to work with them to decrease pain and use all possible methods to improve their physical and mental well-being, function, and quality of life in the most compassionate manner.” In medical school, Dr. Sabapathy consistently made the Medical Group Dean’s List, ranking in the 99th percentile of nationwide providers. He was awarded Chief Resident based on his exemplary standard for clinical care, administrative organization, and patient satisfaction. Dr. Sabapathy was honored with the Gold Touch Award for his extensive community service efforts. He is passionate about helping people manage their chronic pain and providing solutions to regain their quality of life. In his spare time, Dr. Sabapathy enjoys traveling and reading. He actively participates in yoga, basketball, baseball, and football. Dr. Sabapathy is proud to call DFW his home.
