I am a full-time third-year student at Bournemouth University looking for a job in the healthcare industry where I can be involved in a role that includes therapy, counselling, and assisting in job roles that involve psychological elements. I'm also interested in working in the field of forensic psychology. I see myself in this industry because I have been a Pharmacy Advisor/Dispenser for a while now and would like to broaden my horizons and try something new. I have a strong work ethic and ambition, especially when it comes to things I am passionate about. Experience in the psychology industry would be invaluable for what I want to do next in my psychology career. As part of my work experience, I worked as a TA with children, exploring with students who needed extra help in their studies. Pupils ranged from years 3-6. My role entailed maintaining a professional demeanour in the workplace while also caring deeply about students' emotional and physical health. Understanding how to build significant positive relationships with students. Supporting students' needs and assisting them in succeeding and reaching their full potential. The Sadlers, a catering company, is a family-owned business that included waitressing, bartending, arranging and making canapes, communicating with chef orders, and event monitoring. I learned to adapt to a variety of catering environments, including weddings, children's events, and adult parties. I worked for Boots UK as a Customer Advisor, where I handled inquiries, promoted Boots products and services, processed customer correspondence, provided customer service, and handled stress. In 2020, I began working as a Healthcare Advisor, which entails providing patients with healthcare advice, tailoring conversations with various customers, understanding the patients' needs, and assisting them. I quickly applied for the dispensing role, providing technical aspects of the dispensary, such as dispensing medication, ordering medications, labelling, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions. Duties include minimising dispensing losses and ensuring the pharmacy operates as a team. I am now a qualified Pharmacy Advisor. I achieved a Gold DofE award. Work experience included visible leadership at my previous sixth form. Assisting others in the school to improve their art skills and creating a comfortable environment for students to communicate any concerns. Key skills include supportive behaviour in the classroom, awareness of students' needs, and assisting those who require assistance.
