Dr Kalu Ogbureke works as a consultant paediatrician at BMI The Blackheath Hospital, The Harley Street Clinic, The Portland Hospital, and Chiswick Medical Centre. He also consults at Frimley Health NHS Trust. He completed his paediatric specialist training at Kings College Hospital in London.He is actively involved in research and was formerly the Queen Elizabeth Hospitals local co-ordinator for the EPICure 2 project, which assessed perinatal outcomes for preterm babies in the UK and Ireland. He has also had a number of papers published, and he has conducted controlled trials and systematic reviews.Dr Ogbureke enjoys teaching and currently mentors both junior medical students and nurses. He formerly served as Chief Medical Director at Delta State University Teaching Hospital in Nigeria and has been an examiner for the medical schools of Guys, St Thomas, and Kings College. He has twice been asked to present as a guest speaker at the Paediatric Association of Nigerias Annual Scientific Conference.
