Mr Yuvraj Agrawal is a well experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in Hip and Knee Surgery. He currently sees patients at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Droitwich Spa Hospital and Spire Parkway Hospital.Before joining the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Mr Agrawal served as a Consultant in Orthopaedic Trauma & Lower Limb Arthroplasty at Nottingham University Hospitals for a duration of 18 months. His areas of expertise extend beyond the treatment of arthritis in the hip and knee joints. He has a particular interest in failed joint replacements, joint infections, and periprosthetic fractures. Additionally, Mr Agrawal holds the position of Lead for Quality Improvement at the trust, demonstrating his commitment to enhancing patient care and outcomes.Mr Agrawal obtained his medical qualification from BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal in 2002. He later completed his Basic Surgical Training in Leeds and pursued Higher Surgical Training in Trauma and Orthopaedics in Sheffield and affiliated hospitals.Mr Agrawal also completed an advanced fellowship in Orthopaedic Trauma at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham, and an Adult Joint Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. These experiences equipped him with expertise in managing complex trauma cases as well as intricate problems related to the hip and knee joints. In 2016, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Trauma and Orthopaedics.Alongside his clinical work, Mr Agrawal actively engages in various research projects. His contributions have been recognised with academic prizes at both regional and national levels. He has also authored a textbook chapter and published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals. Mr Agrawal is also a dedicated teacher and serves as an instructor for numerous national courses catering to medical students and trainee orthopaedic surgeons, sharing his expertise and fostering the growth of future professionals in the field.
