Joy Dairo is a medical student at the University of East Anglia. She loves connecting with people who share her passion for medicine. She has worked as a health care assistant which she enjoyed as it allowed her to work on her interpersonal skills and start her career into the healthcare section. In addition, she has worked as a dispenser in a pharmacy which has helped her create a more holistic view of medicine as a whole. She is very passionate about the representation of ethnic minorities in the medical field and has decided to explore this interest by being apart of the African and Caribbean medical society at her university, which she hopes she can help to encourage more students of these ethnic groups to join and excel in the medical field.
