Dr. Wiest brings extensive experience in spine access, having worked with multiple Portland area surgeons over several years. Together, they have achieved excellent outcomes in patients with complex medical issues. Dr. Wiest likes living in Portland because of the sophisticated medical community, and also the diverse options for outdoor adventures. Outside of work, Dr. Wiest enjoys fly fishing, mountain biking, skiing, spending time with his wife and dog in Bend, and going on adventures with their kids and grandchildren.
