Consultant gastroenterologist since Feb 1996. Outpatient clinics specialising in the investigation and management of altered bowel habit, abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, as well as the management of inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease and functional bowel problems. Main area of interest is Endoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic) including endoscopy training as well as workforce development and service improvement. I am the clinical lead for County Durham and Darlington Bowel cancer Screening Service.
