I qualified as a Pharmacist in 2014, I worked first as a relief pharmacist and then went on to manage my own branch. As well as the skills needed to run a pharmacy such as customer service, teamwork and leadership skills I have also developed practical skills around vaccinations through running a travel clinic as well as the seasonal flu vaccination service. As well as my masters degree I have achieved a certificate of higher education in clinical pharmacy as well as a ILM level 5 diploma in management and leadership. As well as working as a branch manager I have taken on additional roles in the area, I am the community pharmacy PCN lead for my area, meaning I am responsible for communicating between the pharmacies and surgeries in my PCN most recently this has involved spearheading the setting up of the GP CPCS service with in the PCN. I also hold a seat on the Sheffield LPC as one of the AIM representatives meaning I am involved with many issues community pharmacy faces as well as helping set up new services and get the best deal for contractors and the NHS
