I have been a qualified social worker for 16 years. I worked with adults with; physical disabilities (including ABI), HIV, learning disabilities, autism, mental health, older people, substance misuse, dual-diagnosis, Carers and completing Best Interest Assessments. I worked specialists roles with people living with HIV/AIDS, people with learning disabilities moving back into the community from inpatient care and Making Safeguarding Personal in line with the Care Act. I also qualified as a practice educator. I have completed numerous Mental Capacity Assessments, in relation to DoLS and in relation to applying to the Court of Protection for Deputyship.
