Welcome to my counseling practice. I know that choosing to begin or re-enter counseling can be a difficult or intimidating decision. My goal is to create a collaborative and safe therapeutic relationship where we can work towards your healing and wellness. I believe that distress - however it manifests - is a response to adversity. In working with people I find that the important questions to ask are "What have you been through?" Or, "What have you experienced?" Not, "What is wrong with you?"The stress and trauma that we encounter across our lifespan often forms relational, cognitive, emotional, and unconscious patterns that can keep us stuck from reaching our fullest wellness. As humans experience distress holistically in the mind-body system, I take a holistic approach to therapy, incorporating mind, body, and trauma informed principles.My goal is not just to help you alleviate distress, but to move towards a higher level of wellness in which you are living authentically and have deepened relationships with your intuition and embodied, present self.
