I have a great deal of experience in leading teams as part of an In-patient ward setting as well as part of community teams. I also have experience in managing liaison teams in the areas of in-reach and Medically Unexplained Symptoms. I have experience in research and have worked with a number of prominent organisations such as the Royal College of Psychiatrists and Heath Education England. I have a keen interest in medical education. I designed, initiated and provide a communications skills programme for medical students within 2 separate medical schools in the UK. This programme, Psychiatry Pitstop, has been awarded a number of prizes and presented at international conferences. My strengths lie in my knowledge as well as my management and leadership skills. I am also aware of the strengths of working as a cohesive team. I feel that I possess the skills to find the strengths of all team members and encourage them to create a fully diverse skill set.
