Having worked in clinical and non-clinical settings in different countries (Latvia, Finland, Sweden, UK) I come with experience in establishing rapport and communication with people from different ethnic, cultural and educational backgrounds. I am passionate about nursing and patient care. Genuine human contact, empathy and ability to help another human being is what I value most in my job - and my life. I feel privileged that I'm allowed into other people's lives when they are vulnerable, unwell, in pain - and that I can support them and hopefully make experience of illness a bit more tolerable. I’m a reflective practitioner and use self-reflection a lot in both personal and professional life. I’m a quick learner and enjoy learning new things and developing new skills.
