Dr. Jennifer Connor has joined our staff at Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers after completing a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston, Texas. She specializes in operative and non-operative foot and ankle care, which includes trauma, sports related injuries, tendon injuries, arthritis, and deformities of the foot and ankle. Dr. Connor obtained her medical degree from the Rush University Medical College in Chicago. She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery residency training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. During residency Dr. Connor was a two time recipient of the AOA award for excellence in teaching. She received awards for outstanding performance in hand surgery, as well as the Robert O. Ray award for basic Orthopaedic Research. Her research has been presented at both regional and national Orthopaedic meetings. During her fellowship, Jennifer served as a team doctor for Rice University Athletics. She also assisted in the foot and ankle care of the Houston Texans, Rockets, and Astros. Dr. Connor also has a strong interest in volunteer work. She has done several orthopaedic missions. She has travelled to Colombia with the Shriners Childrens Hospitals to provide orthopaedic care to children. While in Nigeria Jennifer worked with the organization Doctors Without Borders providing orthopaedic surgical care. At the Orthopaedic and Rehabilitation Centers, Dr. Connor specializes in operative and non-operative foot and ankle care. She also practices general orthopaedics, which includes trauma, sports related injuries, tendon injuries, arthritis, deformities, and osteoporosis screening and treatment.
