Nelson Mandela made a profound statement which aligns with part of my core values. “You can never have an impact on society if you have not changed yourself.” Nelson Mandela With this in mind, I make it my duty not just to sit back but to develop my knowledge of pharmacy and healthcare as a whole. This has led me to use my platform and my study as a trainee pharmacist to learn about the experiences of other professionals. Through my time at the UEA, I was given the opportunity to have a hospital placement at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital at Kings Lynn during my 3rd year. Doing this placement and meeting highly commendable staff led me to choose this hospital for my trainee year; this is where I am doing my trainee year.
