I have been manager of the Dementia Outreach Service in Metro South Hospital and Health Services since 2009 and have worked in the area of dementia within the Residential Aged Care setting since 1996. In 2008 I completed my Masters in Chronic Disease and was endorsed as a Nurse Practitioner Dementia. I have experience in managing dementia secure units and participated in the development of the Metro South Health Dementia Strategy. I have also been involved in Ministerial Dementia forums and Roundtable discussions on medications in dementia. My specialist areas are the management of responsive behaviours in dementia.
