Dr. Ahuja received his BS in Mechanical Engineering and completed his Master in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, Virginia in 1990. Thereafter, he continued his PhD in Aerospace engineering also at Old Dominion University in 1995. While working towards his PhD, Dr. Ahuja worked as an engineer at NASA Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. Dr. Ahuja worked in the Hypersonic Computational Fluid Dynamics and Combustion division of NASA Langley Research center. His dedication to quality of work earned him the most prestigious award given jointly by NASA Langley and Virginia Academy of Science for the best Research in the field of a new conceptual aircraft called “Oblique Detonation Wave Engine.” Working with the most elite and the brightest scientists from all over the world at NASA Langley research center, Dr. Ahuja gained an insight into what quality of work means. Dr. Ahuja made the decision to transition from engineering to dental medicine and joined Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Ahuja obtained his DDS degree from VCU school of dentistry in 2000. Thereafter, Dr. Ahuja worked as a general dentist in Richmond, Virginia and Raleigh, North Carolina before purchasing his own practice in Charlotte, North Carolina in March 2002. Dr. Ahuja is licensed to practice dentistry in the state of North Carolina and Virginia. The quality and rigorous training he received in elite institutions like NASA LANGLEY has set the bar for quality of work very high for him. He has applied the same dedication and focus on excellence as a dentist. His extensive engineering background combined with extensive training and continuing education in dentistry has made him deliver the best dentistry for his patients. He has received extensive continuing education training that involved hands on training with the elite cosmetic dentistry NASH institute.
